And like everything else Ive bought from Smoke Daddy, its basically bomb proof heavy gauge steel. Unlike other smoke devices there is virtually no set up, just swap out your heat diffuser. Now i get the best of both worlds - set and forget convenience as well as consistent clean smoke, not just incremental as the grill feeds pellets. That said, I've always lamented the lack of smoke and true smoke flavor especially at higher temps. Now that Ive had that for a year, the convenience and consistently good product is too great a factor. Bottom line: If I ever must buy another smoker, which I doubt I will have to do because of the quality of the Pellet Pro, my first, and only, choice will be one from SmokeDaddy!Īfter years of smoking with charcoal and stick burning, a Traeger pellet grill fell into my lap. When I have called for assistance, a real person, in Illinois where SmokeDaddy is based, answers and has routed me to someone who was knowledgeable about my issue. In every instance I have needed guidance on using the Pellet Pro, Dennis himself, or one of the team, has gotten back to me promptly via e-mail.even on a Sunday, while I was still in the process of smoking. Beyond the initial purchase, I have been amazed at the level of Customer Service provided by Dennis and his team. I was drawn to the SmokeDaddy Pellet Pro vertical smoker due to its capacity, what took both my Masterbuilt smokers can easily fit in the SmokeDaddy! The other reason I chose the SmokeDaddy was its obvious quality craftsmanship as well as the attention that the SmokeDaddy team paid to the design. One was a 30 inch and the other was a 40 inch. I bought my SmokeDaddy Pellet Pro vertical smoker about a year and a half ago to replace two electric Masterbuilt vertical smokers that had both of their electronic controllers go bad. He uses it just about every weekend and couldn't be happier with it!! Thanks so much for making such a great product!! After the first time trying it he told me to remove the sale ads, that he was keeping the pellet grill now thanks to the Smoke Daddy smoke generator. As soon as it arrived my husband drilled a hole in this brand new pellet grill and installed your smoke generator. I put it online and was going to lose alot of money!! I started doing research to see if there was anything else that we could do to make this pellet grill give us that deep smokey flavor and came across your smoke generator. After contacting the manufacturer of the pellet grill they recommended changing pellets which we did and still didn't get the smoke flavor we were hoping for so my husband said sell it. Being used to the strong smoke flavor with the offset grill we were terribly disappointed the first time we cooked on it. We have a huge offset smoker that we would fire up for parties when friends would come over however it's too big of a grill to fire up for just 2 people hence the purchase of the pellet grill. I purchased a pellet grill with all the accessories and 80 lbs of pellets for my husband for Christmas. Your smoke generator saved me about $2100. I will be buying all my future replacement parts from smoke daddy. The way the holes are shaped and placed helps with cleaner burned pellets and less ash build up in bottom of pot. PID controller is worth every penny!!!!! The burn pot is of better quality as well. It also uses way less pellets and can reach 500 degrees. The smell of the pellets burning/smoking is so much better. Gets to temp super-fast and holds within +/- 5 degrees. This grill is way better than it has ever been. First fire up and WOW! This is truely a PID controller not a timed despenser. The install was very striaght forward for the pid controller. Called and talked with a gentleman and he seems very genuine, so I Bought the PID controller and a spare burner pot. The prob did help it get better temps, but the swing was 50+ degrees. It was suggested to replace the temp prob. It has been a great grill, I have only replaced the burner pot about 2 year ago. I was having temp issues with my 7 year old Traeger pro22.
